David-Profile

David Anderson is launching a new book this summer and we would really appreciate your feedback on the  concepts below.  Refreshing such a successful book is an important mission and we would really appreciate your feedback on the designs.

This will be the first of a 2 volume series replacing the current Kanban “Blue Book” with updated content and be translated into German, Portuguese. The other languages will follow.

Please keep in mind the design brief was to keep the established cartoon and make it blue so it would continue to be recognised as the “Blue Book”.  As it relates to the journey of discovery of kanban the concepts include ideas of paths, discovery, Japanese gardens and mountains. It was at the Imperial Palace Gardens in Tokyo Japan where David had his epiphany, hence the visual references using cherry blossom and Mount Fuji.
